Not all peptide sellers are equal. If you're going to buy research peptides in Australia, a few checks separate a trustworthy Australian peptide supplier from a risky one. Here's the checklist to run before you order.
1. Do they publish a Certificate of Analysis (CoA)?
This is the big one. A real supplier independently tests each batch and publishes the CoA so you can verify purity and identity before buying — not "available on request," but actually published. If you can't see a CoA, you can't know what's in the vial. (Ours are all in the CoA Library; here's how to read one.)
2. Is stock actually held in Australia?
"Australian" in the name doesn't always mean local stock. Genuinely Australian-held stock means faster dispatch, no customs risk, and no month-long waits from overseas. Ask where it ships from.
3. Are they a real, registered company?
A legitimate supplier has a registered Australian business (an ABN) and a real contact channel — not just an anonymous checkout. Transparency here is a strong trust signal.
4. Secure, sensible payment
Look for secure card payment plus options like PayID/bank transfer. A trusted card checkout (e.g. via Stripe) is a good sign the business is established.
5. Clear research-use framing
A compliant supplier is clear that products are for laboratory and in-vitro research use only — not making health or dosing claims. Over-the-top benefit claims are a red flag (and a legal one).
6. Responsive support
Can you actually reach someone? Live chat, email, a real reply. It matters when you have a question about a batch or an order.
