What GHK-Cu is
GHK is a naturally occurring tripeptide — three amino acids, glycine-histidine-lysine — first identified in human plasma. On its own it's "GHK." What makes GHK-Cu distinct is that the peptide has a strong affinity for copper ions and binds one, forming a copper complex. So GHK-Cu is the copper-bound form of the GHK peptide, and that copper-binding is central to why it's studied.
