Search longevity and metabolic-research forums for cellular-energy work and one pairing comes up constantly: NAD+ and MOTS-c, run side by side as the "Longevity Stack". It isn't a compound. It's two separately studied research peptides, sold together because they're so often examined in parallel. Here's what the stack actually is, why the two are paired, and what you receive when you buy one.
What the Longevity Stack actually is
Two separately studied research peptides, supplied together:
- NAD+ (500 mg) — the coenzyme central to cellular-energy, DNA-repair and ageing research.
- MOTS-c (10 mg) — a mitochondrial-derived peptide studied in cellular-energy and exercise-response research.
As with our other named stacks, the Longevity Stack is not a single mixed vial. You receive a labelled NAD+ vial and a labelled MOTS-c vial, each with its own batch number and Certificate of Analysis, each reconstituted on its own. Blends that put several compounds into one vial, like KLOW, are a different product type with different trade-offs.
Why researchers pair them
The pairing is popular because the two compounds approach the same underlying question — cellular energy — from different angles. NAD+ sits on the coenzyme and DNA-repair side: it's a cofactor nearly every cell depends on, and its decline with age is one of the most studied threads in longevity research. MOTS-c comes at it from mitochondrial signalling: a peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA itself, studied for how it communicates between the mitochondria and the rest of the cell, including in exercise-response research. Running them together gives researchers both the "fuel" side and the "signalling" side of the same system.
A note on the name: "Longevity Stack" describes the field of research these compounds sit in — it is not a claim about effects in a person, and nothing in this article should be read that way.
Stack or single vials — which to buy?
Practically, buying the stack is just buying the two vials together. The advantages are small but real: you get the pair in one order at a slightly lower price ($270.88 versus $293.73 for the two bought separately), and you know both are from tested, documented batches. The only reason to buy singles instead is if you need a different quantity of one than the other — the stack is strictly one-and-one. Want a different pairing entirely? Handling and storage
Both vials arrive as lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder. Store at −20°C, reconstitute each vial separately with bacteriostatic water, then refrigerate and keep out of light. Because they are two vials, you'll work out two concentrations — the reconstitution calculator handles that, and our guide to storing and reconstituting peptides covers the rest.
Sourcing the Longevity Stack in Australia
We hold both vials in Australian stock, independently batch-tested with each Certificate of Analysis published, dispatched same or next business day from Melbourne. Before you order, you can read the lab results in our CoA Library — with a two-vial stack, checking both CoAs matters. For the full research breakdown, see the Longevity Stack research page.
